Bayeux Tapestry Armada
The Bayeux Tapestry Armada shows five Norman ships from their invasion armada reaching the shore of England. Fifty scenes of The Bayeux Tapestry show events from the death of King Edward the Confessor to William the Conqueror’s invasion and the Battle of Hastings in 1066. This 70 metre long embroidery can be seen today in the town of Bayeux, Normandy.
