Tapestry Description

Faith, Hope, Charity tapestry

Arts and Crafts tapestries

Faith, Hope, Charity tapestry is from a stained glass window at St Martin’s Church, Brampton in Cumbria. Spes, Caritas, Fides was designed by John Henry Dearle in 1886 and made by Morris & Co for this new church designed by Philip Webb. This is a high quality example of our Arts and Crafts tapestries, woven in France in a fine weave of 50% wool and 50% cotton. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging. With every order we supply instructions about hanging tapestries, and about their care.
