Tapestry Description

Femme et Oiseau dans la Nuit

Woman and Bird in the Night – Joan Miro

The Femme et Oiseau dans la Nuit tapestry, also known as Woman and Bird in the Night, was painted in 1945 by the Spanish Surrealist painter Joan Miro (1893 – 1983). It is woven in 74% cotton, 18% wool and 8% polyester. See further 20th century tapestries.

Our Miro tapestries are finely woven in France reproducing the original paintings. The original colours and brushstrokes are carefully replicated by the weavers under license to reproduce these pieces of modern art. Each tapestry is lined and has a rod pocket for wall-hanging – we supply instructions for the easy hanging of your tapestry with every order. Please note that this art tapestry is non-returnable.
