Tapestry Description

The Garden of Delight

This tapestry scene is one of The Garden of Delight tapestries which are woven in slightly varying scenes: three horizontal landscapes plus two vertical tapestries which focus on the Acapanthus (left) and the Amaryllis (right). They are from a panorama painted in 1861 by Joseph Fuchs entitled “Eden”, later used as a wallpaper. Please note that both sizes of this fine tapestry are non-returnable.

Today all these fine French wall tapestries are woven in a very fine quality 95% cotton weave using several weaving techniques. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging.
