Tapestry Description

The Orange Tree

The Orange Tree tapestry was originally designed as a firescreen by John Henry Dearle. It was woven by Morris & Co in 1900, four years after the death of William Morris though is thoroughly true to his ideals. Today this French tapestry is woven in 80% cotton and 20% viscose and is lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging.
