Tapestry Description

Van Gogh Irises tapestry

Van Gogh Irises tapestry – it was originally painted in oil on canvas by Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) at Saint-Remy in May 1889. In 1987 it became the most expensive painting ever sold, now displayed at the Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles.

This popular example of French tapestry wall art is woven in 95% cotton, with 5% lurex bringing it to life brilliantly. The Irises tapestry is lined and has a rod pocket for hanging (we enclose instructions for hanging tapestries with every order).
