John Henry Dearle tapestries
The Acanthus wall tapestry is after an embroidered silk door-curtain designed by John Henry Dearle in 1890. Much influenced by William Morris, who trained him, he was the chief designer for Morris & Co by this time, working for over 50 years for the company.
This French tapestry is finely woven by Jules Pansu in 95% cotton and is lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging. We supply tapestry hanging instructions with your order. (It has a dark blue background.) Please note that the largest size is non-returnable.
