Tapestry Description

Aladdin tapestry

Vittorio Zecchin – Art Nouveau tapestries

The Aladdin tapestry is a portion of a 100′ painting of 1914 by Vittorio Zecchin (1878-1947). Influenced by Gustav Klimt, this series showed scenes from One Thousand and One Arabian Nights – the procession of princes bearing gifts in the hope of marrying the Sultan’s daughter.

This Art Nouveau tapestry is woven in France in a tight weave of 91% viscose, 7% polyester and 2% acrylic with golden yarn which finely shows the detailing in this tapestry. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging – we enclose tapestry hanging information with your order. Please note that this tapestry is non-returnable.
