French wall tapestry
The Beauvais, Spring tapestry is from a mid 19th century tapestry in the dining room at the Elysee Palace, Paris. The original full design (also available as a new high quality French wall tapestry woven in 50% wool and 50% cotton) was originally created in Beauvais and is exhibited today in the wonderful Musee d’Orsay. It is woven in France in 80% cotton and 20% viscose and is lined, with a rod pocket – we supply tapestry hanging information with each order.
