Tapestry Description

Before the Tournament right tapestry

Jousting tournament wall-hanging

Before the Tournament right tapestry is half of a sumptuous jousting tournament wall-hanging designed by Jean-Paul Laurens (1838-1921) showing medieval knights with their lances preparing to joust.  Woven originally at the Manufacture Royale des Gobelins for the French Public Records Office, today it is woven in France by Jules Pansu in a very fine weave of 95% cotton and it is lined, with a rod pocket. We enclose information about how to hang a tapestry with your order.

The left and right tapestries make a rich pair of matching tapestries. Please note that the largest size is non-returnable.
