Two medieval mounted knights
Chevaliers Medievaux tapestry shows two medieval mounted knights bearing lances. Their decorated armour and matching shields and horse coats indicates the scene may be at an early medieval jousting tournament. The shield on the right has the checkerboard coat of arms used today by the Republic of Croatia.
This Belgian tapestry is woven in 73% cotton, 17% wool and 9% polyester and it is fully lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging. With every order we supply instructions about hanging tapestries, and about their care.
