Tapestry Description

Composition VIII tapestry

Wassily Kandinsky tapestries

The Composition VIII tapestry reproduces his 1923 abstract oil painting. Like other Wassily Kandinsky tapestries this explores colours, here set in geometric shapes and lines. The original is exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.

Our tapestry wall-hanging is woven in France in two sizes in 63% cotton, 19% acrylic and 8% wool. It is fully lined, with a rod pocket – we supply instructions for hanging a tapestry with your order.
