Tapestry Description

Dancing Girls – Degas tapestry

This Dancing Girls – Degas tapestry in pinks and reds is typical of the pastels created by Edgar Degas (1834 – 1917) in the 1880’s. Many of these Degas ballet paintings can be seen in the Musee d’Orsay in Paris. It is available today woven in France as a tapestry wall-hanging in 80% cotton and 20% viscose. The tapestry is fully lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging.
