Botanical tapestries

The Iris Monnieri square tapestry is a smaller square version of one of our botanical tapestries woven in France. It is inspired by the 18th century floral art of Pierre-Joseph Redoute (1759-1840) yet has a contemporary appearance. Redoute painted over 2,000 watercolour botanical illustrations of over 1,800 plants.

This French tapestry wallhanging is woven in 100% cotton with a pale cream background and it is lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging. With every order we supply instructions about hanging tapestries. Iris Monnieri would pair smartly with the Tulipa square tapestry, brightening any room.
