Knights in combat

King Rene’s Tournament tapestry reproduces an illustration from King Rene’s Tournament Book commissioned in the 1460’s during the life of Rene d’Anjou. It shows the dukes of Brittany and Bourbon jousting at a tournament. Today this French tapestry wall-hanging is woven by Jules Pansu, in 95% cotton and is fully lined with a rod pocket. We enclose tapestry hanging suggestions with each order.
