Lake Como tapestries
The Lake and Terrace tapestry is the most popular of these Italian Lake Como tapestries, showing a popular image at an excellent price. This is of the gardens of the Villa d’Este villa built in the 16th century for the Cardinal of Como. These were described by Caroline of Brunswick as “a scene of complete enchantment”.
It is woven in Italy in 75% cotton and 25% viscose and is hand-finished – lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging. With every order we supply instructions about hanging tapestries, and about their care. This overstocked Lake Como tapestry is on sale in limited quantities.
