Tapestry Description
Lebensbaum tapestry
Gustav Klimt Stoclet Frieze tapestries
The Lebensbaum tapestry by Gustav Klimt is also called The Stoclet Frieze, a series of three symbolic mosaics. These were created for the Vienna Secessionist Exhibition where it was part of the Beethoven Frieze.
One of the Klimt Tree of Life tapestries, it is dramatically woven in Belgium in a soft weave of 38% wool, 38% acrylic, 14% trevira, 7% cotton and 3% lurex. It looks so much better than our image can convey, with a soft lemon background. There is also a vertical detail: the Lebensbaum Tree tapestry. This superb Belgian wall tapestry is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging. We provide guidelines for the easy hanging of tapestries with every order. Please note that the largest size is Special Ordered and is therefore non-returnable.
