The Arts tapestries
The Mucha Dance tapestry is adapted from Alphonse Mucha’s Arts series of four colour lithographs produced in 1898. The Arts – Dance is full of movement showing a lady dancing in an autumn breeze. There were 1,000 copies released on vellum and 50 printed on satin – it would be a delight to own these but for significantly less you can enjoy this Art Nouveau tapestry. The Arts tapestries, including the matching Alphonse Mucha Music tapestry, are woven in France by Jules Pansu, in a fine weave of 95% cotton and are lined, with a rod pocket. We supply instructions for easy tapestry hanging.
