Redoute wall tapestries
The Orange square tapestry is a larger square version of one of our botanical Redoute wall tapestries woven in France. It is from the art of Pierre-Joseph Redoute (1759-1840) who painted over 2,000 botanical illustrations of over 1,800 plants. This tapestry wallhanging is woven in 97% cotton with a pale cream background and it is unlined with finished edges, but can be ordered with a rod pocket for easy hanging. It is woven in one size 57″x57″: with or without a rod pocket – limited quantities. Thus it can be used as a tablecloth or throw, as well as being a wall tapestry.
