The Peonies Floral Portiere with peonies, roses and other summer flowers is one of a pair of matching tapestries woven in France in a fine wool and cotton weave, and lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging. This French tapestry matches the Roses Floral Portiere. Both are traditionally elegant yet with a modern sharpness. (A portiere is a tall slim tapestry often used in pairs to flank elegant doorways in chateaux.) This tapestry has been discontinued by the weaver.
