Tapestry Description

Royal Palace – detail

French tapestry wallhanging

The Royal Palace – detail is the central inner portion of one of our most popular tapestries. The Royal Palace, or Verdure au Chateau, shows the Chateau of Chambord from the ‘Royal Households’ series designed by Charles le Brun in about 1670. The series, Les Tentures des Maisons Royales tapestries, featured twelve Louis XIV chateaux. See several sizes of this elegant tapestry. This wall tapestry is finely woven in France in a blend of 50% wool and 50% cotton and is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging – we supply instructions for this with each order
