Louis XIV tapestries

The Canal of Bruges tapestry – Louis XIV and his army cross the canal in their victorious battle against Spain in 1667 in the War of Devolution. It was originally woven at the Gobelins royal tapestry weaving workshops in Paris, one of fourteen Louis XIV tapestries showing his battles. It is now at Versailles Palace.

The tapestry is woven in France today in acrylic, viscose weaves in three sizes. It is lined, with a rod pocket – we enclose tapestry hanging instructions with your order.
