Unicorn tapestry
Musée national du Moyen Âge
The Unicorn tapestry shows the iconic unicorn adapted from the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries series. “Iconic” is an over-used word but is true here, such is the wide recognition of these tapestries at the Musée national du Moyen Âge, Paris. He stands proud in the classic medieval mille fleurs setting, with two trees behind. He holds the banner of Jean le Viste who is generally thought to have commissioned these early 16th century masterpieces.
This French wall tapestry is woven today in 98% cotton, fully lined with an attached rod pocket. We supply instructions for hanging tapestries with every order.
