Description
Verdure aux Oiseaux tapestry
18th century Audenaarde gobelins
The Verdure aux Oiseaux tapestry features two birds, including a heron, at a stream in a forest. This gently peaceful French wall-hanging tapestry is woven in a fine quality 50% wool and 50% cotton by long-established weavers. The original 18th century Audenaarde gobelins tapestry is displayed at the Royal Museum, Brussels. The tapestry is lined, with a rod pocket – we supply hanging information with all orders.
