Jagaloon tapestries

The Woodland tapestry shows a scene from The Jagaloon Tapestries which are in the castle at Wawel, Krakow, Poland. They were commissioned by the King of Poland and woven in Flanders in the mid 16th century.

These are ideal as pairs or as a tryptych – this tapestry matches the Timberland tapestry to form a fine pair of tapestries. Today they are woven in Belgium in 73% cotton, 19% trevira and 8% acrylic and are lined, with a rod pocket for easy tapestry hanging.
