Medieval mille fleurs tapestries
The Woolworkers tapestry wallhanging is a typical 15th century medieval mille fleurs tapestries scene woven in the Loire Valley, inspired by riverbank flowers. Here we see woolworkers shearing and carding in this pastoral tapestry.
This tapestry wall-hanging is woven in France today in two sizes, and is available with or without the dark blue border. It is fully lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging. (Note: the background is a dark blue.)
