My Sweet Rose tapestry also known as The Soul of the Rose was painted by John William Waterhouse in 1908. Waterhouse (1849 – 1917), one of the Pre-Raphaelite painters in London, drew on a variety of styles. We have several Waterhouse tapestries available. This French tapestry is woven in 76% cotton, 10% acrylic, 6% polyester, 5% polyamide, 3% viscose and it is lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging.
