An Angel tapestry is from an 1878 painting by Edward Burne-Jones (originally measuring 29″x24″) in watercolour, gouache and gold paint on paper mounted on canvas. Now in the Sudley Art Gallery, Merseyside.
Today the wall tapestry is woven in France in 82% cotton including effective gold shading. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging. We enclose tapestry hanging suggestions with your order.
