Tapestry Description

Flora tapestry

The Flora tapestry is a 1885 tapestry design by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones. It was woven at Merton Abbey and represents Spring (Pomona represents Autumn). This version is a detail without the verse and border. It is woven in France in a cotton blend and is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging.
