Port de Toscane wall tapestries
The Grand Harbour square tapestry is one of the Port de Toscane wall tapestries showing a harbour through columns and a balustrade, with a baroque foreground of musical instruments and a bouquet of flowers. The original tapestry was woven in Beauvais at the end of the 19th century and is now part of the Mobilier National collection. It is woven in France in a fine quality 50% wool and 50% cotton weave: an ideal combination of fullness and depth yet with fine detailing, having an antique appearance. This French tapestry is fully lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging – we provide tapestry hanging information with each order.
