Long Klimt Tree of Life
Fine Italian wall-hanging
The Long Klimt Tree of Life tapestry is a slightly elongated version of the original Klimt Tree of Life tapestry which is one of our most popular Art Nouveau tapestries. Consequently it will be welcomed by those seeking this shape. It is a fine Italian wall-hanging tapestry woven in one size, with very slight crinkles in the weave. It shows the Tree of Life rising through the ground and spreading wide, painted by Gustav Klimt in 1909. The combination of 61% acrylic, 20% cotton, 14% viscose, 5% polyester gives fine detailing and includes some golden lurex for a stunning appearance. It is fully lined, with a rod pocket – we enclose tapestry hanging information with your order.

And here is the same wall tapestry lit by overhead lights in a home in Seattle. It’s interesting to see how both settigs used small decorative accessories so effectively.
