The Camel Tapestry – Only 1 left in each size!
The Camel tapestry is inspired by an 1844 tapestry featuring an elephant which was woven at Aubusson and is now in the Louvre, Paris. Today this is woven in France in two sizes in 80% cotton and 20% viscose. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging – we provide tapestry hanging information with each order.
The tapestry is also available without the border. It matches the Elephant for a fine pairing of animal tapestries.
Please note that the above image shows the larger size. The smaller size has a slightly lighter colour for the central tapestry although the border is unchanged.
