The Mandolin tapestry
Musee d’Orsay tapestries in Paris
The Mandolin tapestry – the original 19th century tapestry was woven at Beauvais and is now one of the few Musee d’Orsay tapestries in Paris.
It is one of our French tapestries finely woven in 50% wool and 50% cotton. This weave results in an ideal combination of fullness and depth yet with fine detailing. It is lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging. We supply instructions for the care and hanging of tapestries with each order. Please note that the largest size is non-returnable.
