The Three Graces tapestry

Sandro Botticelli Primavera

The Three Graces tapestry is from the late 15th century Sandro Botticelli Primavera masterpiece in the Uffizi Gallery, Florence. Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510) painted an allegorical scene of eight figures and cupid in an orange grove, including The Three Graces holding hands and dancing.

The Three Graces tapestry and Primavera tapestry are both woven in Italy today in 53% viscose and 41% cotton. They are lined, with a rod pocket – we supply wall-hanging instructions with each order. We have available also The Birth of Venus tapestry from the painting also at the Uffizi (our favourite art gallery).
