The Herald tapestry is a detail from one of the Artemisia tapestries woven for Marie de Medici in the early 17th century. They extol the power and virtue of queens and are now in Mobilier National, Paris. Today this French tapestry is finely woven in a high quality 50% wool and 50% cotton weave which gives richness and depth together with fine detailing. The tapestry is fully lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging – we supply hanging and care information with each order.
