Description
Touch wallhanging tapestry
The Touch wallhanging tapestry reproduces one of The Lady with the Unicorn tapestries at the Musée national du Moyen Âge in Paris. These iconic early 16th century masterpieces of wall art illustrate the senses. In the Touch tapestry we see the lady holding the horn of the unicorn while the lion looks on. The banner and clothing of the two animals is the coat of arms of Jean le Viste. All are within the medieval “thousand flower”s, mille fleurs background.
The tapestry is woven in France today in 98% cotton and is lined with a rod pocket – with each order we enclose suggestions to help you hang a tapestry.
