Medieval wall tapestry
The Woolworkers tapestry wallhanging is typical of 15th century mille fleurs tapestries woven in the Loire Valley, inspired by the thousands of local flowers. The woolworkers are shown carding and shearing in this pastoral tapestry.
This medieval wall tapestry is now woven in France in 80% cotton and 20% viscose, in one size with the dark blue border. It is fully lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging.
Please note that the above image shows the previous larger size – the background being a dark blue. The smaller size has a slightly lighter colour for the central tapestry although the border is unchanged.
