Francois Boucher wall tapestries

The Fountain of Love tapestry is from a Francois Boucher (1703-70) design woven at Aubusson. He was the Court Painter to Louis XV. It is now woven in France in a superior weave of 50% wool and 50% cotton in two sizes. Note the gently faded colours: there are even tiny hints of the original red, blue and green – we enjoy its antique appearance.

Like all our Francois Boucher wall tapestries it is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging. We supply instructions for the care and hanging of tapestries with each order. Note: the larger size is non-returnable.
