The Oath tapestry

Oath at Pontida

The Oath tapestry is from a painting by Mose Bianchi (1840-1904) showing the ceremonial oath at Pontida which allied the Lombard League against the Holy Roman Empire in 1167. This wall tapestry is woven in Italy today in a cotton and viscose blend and it is lined, with a rod pocket. We supply instructions about how to hang a tapestry with each order.
