18th century French tapestry

The Chinoiseries tapestry is from the “Salons Chinois” series designed by Jean-Baptiste Pillement (1728-1808). Today this 18th century French tapestry is finely woven in 50% wool and 50% cotton, giving fullness and depth yet fine detailing too. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging – we supply information for this with every order.
