Description
Bayeux Tapestry Norman ship – no Border
Medieval tapestries for sale
The Bayeux Tapestry Norman ship wall tapestry shows one of William the Conqueror’s vessels heading for England before the Battle of Hastings in 1066. It is one of our many Bayeux tapestries for sale – this one a French tapestry woven today in 80% cotton and 20% viscose. It is fully lined, with a rod pocket – with every order we enclose suggestions to help you hang a tapestry. It is also available with a blue border.
You might find it helpful to know that the links below all show tapestries woven by the same French weaver, having the same colour tones and yarn. (Four different European weavers produce our selection.) This is especially handy when hanging matching Bayeux tapestry wall-hangings side by side.
