Gustav Klimt Stoclet Frieze
Italian wall-hanging
The Gustav Klimt Stoclet Frieze tapestry presents three elements of the frieze created by Gustav Klimt in 1911 for the Palais Stoclet, Brussels. A standing figure and an embracing couple flank a tree of life. They were created in a mosaic of ceramics, marble, enamel, metals and semi-precious stones. (We also have several Klimt Tree of Life tapestries.)
The Italian wall-hanging tapestry shows these in rich golden tones with sparkling details. It is woven in 53% viscose, 41% cotton and 6% polyester and is fully lined, having a rod pocket for hanging. We supply instructions for hanging tapestries with every order.
