Botanical tapestries
The Papaver square tapestry is a smaller square version of one of our popular botanical tapestries woven in France. It is inspired by the floral art of Pierre-Joseph Redoute (1759-1840) yet has a contemporary flair. He painted over 2,000 watercolour botanical illustrations of over 1,800 plants.
These botanical tapestries are all woven in France in 100% cotton with a pale cream background and are lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging. This papaver tapestry is on sale as it has been discontinued by the weaver.
