Description
Van Gogh Irises tapestry
French tapestry wall art
Van Gogh Irises tapestry – it was originally painted in oil on canvas by Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) at Saint-Remy in May 1889. In 1987 it became the most expensive painting ever sold, now displayed at the Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles.
This popular example of French tapestry wall art is woven in 95% cotton, with 5% lurex bringing it to life brilliantly. The Irises tapestry is fully lined and has a rod pocket for wall-hanging (we enclose instructions for hanging tapestries with every order).
(We have another version of this Van Gogh tapestry woven in Belgium in different sizes.)
