Honour the Women tapestry
Morris & Co tapestries – Marianne Stokes
Honour the Women tapestry was designed by Marianne Stokes in 1912 from a 1796 poem called Women’s Worth. It is one of our Morris & Co tapestries, woven in 1912 at their workshops at Merton Abbey. Today it is exhibited at the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester.
This Arts and crafts tapestry is woven in France in 100% cotton and is lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging. With your order we supply instructions for hanging tapestries, and about their care.
