Klimt Tree of Life tapestry
Art Nouveau tapestries
The Klimt Tree of Life tapestry – by Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) was painted in 1909. It is generally perceived to show a tree rising from under the world, through the ground and then spreading into the sky with appropriate symbolism. One of our most popular Art Nouveau tapestries, this fine Italian tapestry is fully lined. All sizes have very slight crinkles in the weave. It has a rod pocket attached for easy wall-hanging. We also offer a slimmer elongated version, the Long Klimt Tree of Life, in one size.
